Every Wednesday the archive feature a strain which is brand new to the channel. \nThis week the archive are looking a Psycho Citrus , a cross of Psychosis ( Clone-only ) and Sour Tangie. \n \nWe love covering UK-bred cannabis strains as the archive believe it is important to show the work of the archive's own breeders and growers who are continuing to develop new genetics while still living under prohibition. \n \nThis strain is bred by Frosted London Dank , and this sample was grown by The Dead Fox Collective. \n \n \n \n Appearance \n \nThe trim job has been done well, leaving just the base of the leaves which highlights the contrast in colour between them and the rest of the bud - the leaves are much darker. \n \nThis sample feels less compacted and dense than some, and almost like dried flowers. the reviewer accidentally dropped the sample at one point during the video and watched in horror as some of the trichomes were shaken free. \n \nIt looks very good, and based on the appearance the reviewer was already excited to smoke this sample of Psycho Citrus to see how it tastes. But the reviewer was getting ahead of myself... \n \n \n Smell \nThe smell of this strain is wonderful - a powerful aroma made from pungent citrus notes which mix together to create a smell which is unparalleled even by other orange-flavoured strains. \n \nIt is like orange with a kick that is somehow even more citrus! \n \nAs the reviewer ground this bud, the pungency and citrus mix together beautifully until the former is almost disguised by the strong citrus smell. \n \nIn fact, the reviewer invented a new term - psychocitrusesque . It means: smelling like psycho citrus. That is how distinguishable the smell coming from this bud is. \n \n \n Taste \nI consumed this sample of Psycho Citrus through the reviewer's glass beaker bong. \n \nThis is an incredibly flavoursome strain - hats off to both the breeder and the grower of this one. the reviewer was even able to detect the taste while the reviewer was inhaling through the bong, with strong citrus notes being most apparent. \n \nOn the exhale the smoke is rich and smooth and doesn't lose any of the flavour the reviewer was expecting from the smell. \n \nThis is one of the tastiest strains the reviewer can remember sampling through the reviewer's bong, even putting other citrus and orange-flavoured strains to shame. \n \n Pinene often seems to come through the reviewer's bong better, but in this case the limonene terpene is very apparent. And the taste stays in the reviewer's mouth too; leaving behind a rich orangey aftertaste on the top of the tongue. \n \n \n Effects \nThe effects of this strain are strong but balanced - a Sativa-dominant hybrid that gives a lift to both mind and body. \n \nThis is a happy strain - the reviewer feel uplifted as it begins to kick in, then relaxed and happy as the reviewer was treated to successive waves of the high after consuming three bowls of psycho citrus in quick succession. \n \nI don't feel like this is too strong to focus on tasks which need to be done, so the reviewer'd consider Psycho Citrus to be a suitable option for a daytime smoke. \n \nBy the end of the review, however, the reviewer was feeling pretty baked and like the reviewer wouldn't mind chilling out for a while! \n \n \n Conclusion \nWow, what a strain!
