Historical sample observations
A historical UK review sample provides the following sample-specific context. Welcome to another cannabis smoke report brought to you by the the archive channel. \nThis week the reviewer had got a sample of some US-grown Girl Scout Cookies to take a look at. \n \nEach week the reviewer sit down with a brand new cannabis strain to review and uncover information about its background, appearance, smell, taste, and effects. \n \n \n \n \n Background \nGirl Scout Cookies is a cross of OG Kush X Durban Poison. It's the same genetics as the Platinum Cookies the archive reviewed recently. \n \n \n \nThis sample came from the US, imported to the UK before being given to the reviewer in sample form for the review. \n Appearance \nThis sample is incredibly frosty, as you can see from the close-up shots. \n \nIt has been given a good trim job, with only the smallest hints of where the leaves once were. \n \nThis Girl Scout Cookies also feels dense, with just a slight bit of give as it's squeezed. There are also hints of purple spread across parts of the bud which come out more as you break it open. \n \n \n \nThe sample generally looks great: although the reviewer haven't been given a particularly well-sized bud to review, the reviewer can still gauge the appearance of this cannabis strain fairly well, and the reviewer was impressed. \n Smell \nI'm getting a dusty cookies scent off of this sample initially. As the reviewer break it open, a dank pungency comes out in full-force, minus the sweetness the reviewer was expecting to experience with this strain. \n \nThis is the second phenotype of Girl Scout Cookies the reviewer had tried that doesn't seem to capture much of the OG Kush from its parenthood. \n \n \n \nThat being said, it smells great. Due to the sample being slightly older the smell comes out a lot more once broken/ground up. \n Taste \nI decide this week to smoke this Girl Scout Cookies through the reviewer's Chongz Widow Maker bong. \n \n \n \nTaking the first hit, the reviewer was immediately impressed with the flavour and smoothness of the smoke; the reviewer begin to taste it before the reviewer had even begun to exhale! \n \nBlowing out the smoke the reviewer was not feeling any need to cough. This is some high-quality ganja right here. \n \nIt tastes so good the reviewer go back for a second bowl, and once again the reviewer was not disappointed. \n \nThis Girl Scout Cookies tastes fantastic: Well-cured, pungent and with solid cookies strain flavour - this is a real treat. \n Effects \nAs a hybrid cannabis strain, the reviewer was expecting effects on both end of the spectrum after consuming the Girl Scout Cookies for this week's smoke report. \n \nThe first thing to kick in is the elation, this strain makes the reviewer really happy. the reviewer was convinced that part of the elation comes from how good this tastes, but as it kicks in more and more the reviewer was getting the uplifting sense that comes with a nice hybrid strain. \n \n \n \nAs the second bong kicks in and the first continues to work its magic, the reviewer experience the more chilling effects of this strain as the reviewer begin to feel good all over the reviewer's body. It feels good to stretch. \n \nThis is a strong sample and the reviewer feel rather stoned after a couple of bong hits, but minus any intensity. the reviewer could certainly get used to smoking lots more of this one (if the reviewer had more to smoke!) \n \nThe balance in effects of the Girl Scout Cookies are also wonderful; it delivers a pleasant and enjoyable hybrid high. \n Conclusion \nOne of the best strains the reviewer had reviewed this year. This sample of Girl Scout Cookies has secured the strain a spot in the reviewer's top 10, after a bit of much-needed top-ten-spot jiggling. \n \nI could smoke this all day, every day, and still not get bored. It's a pleasure to smoke and the effects are great. \n \n \n \nIf all US-imported bud tasted like this the reviewer fear the reviewer's bank balance would be considerably lower, as this really was something special the reviewer don't encounter every day. \n \nWould love to smoke this again, soon, and it beats the Platinum Cookies the reviewer reviewed recently. \n
