Historical sample observations
A historical UK review sample provides the following sample-specific context. This week the reviewer got to sample Ginger Glue, a strain which combines the oh-so-famous gorilla glue with a tropical Jamaican landrace. \nBred by Black Sheep Botanicals in 2016, Ginger Glue is an indica-dominant hybridized strain, and the results of this cross are very nice. \n Appearance \n \n\nThis strain is light-green in appearance, giving full view to those delicious trichomes. The bud the reviewer sampled was been trimmed to perfection, looking as good as a Cali import nug.\n\nIt came in a tin, but the reviewer put it in a glass jar before the video. It felt on the dry side so a Boveda Pack might have kept this sample a bit more sticky.\n\nGood nug formation, nicely developed, and good trichome coverage - all the signs of a well-grown sample!\n Smell \n \n\nThis initially smelt more like Gorilla Glue, with the clean, sharp pungency the reviewer expected from the GG strain.\n\nGrinding up the sample unleashes a different aroma. Still pungent, still clean smelling, but on the sweet side.\n\nCheck out Gorilla Glue Auto Seeds at KillaBeez Seedbank \n Taste \n \n\nI consumed the Ginger Glue in three ways for the reviewer's review - first, the reviewer dabbed the flower Rosin, which was delicious. the reviewer then moved on to the reviewer's bong, smoking a bowl which made the reviewer cough due to its size, before following that up with a session on the Mighty Vaporizer.\n\nAll of the above helped the reviewer to get a good idea of the flavour of the Ginger glue - the reviewer would say vaping is the reviewer's favourite way to consume, followed by dabbing, followed by smoking.\n\nI could taste the GG notes but also something new, the flavour profile the jamaican landrace was apparent during this section, particularly when vaped, with the vapor taking on a herby, firey sort of taste that differs a lot from other strains including Gorilla Glue.\n Effects \n \n\nAs well as the consumption the reviewer had stated above, the reviewer also hit one more bowl during the review video. The culmination of all that smoking, dabbing and vaping left the reviewer rather high, rather quickly.\n\nI got a nice wave which had initial promises of an uplift but which quickly transitioned into a body-led relaxation and physical nice feeling.\n\nAs this is a different terpene and cannabinoid balance to what the reviewer was used to, the reviewer suspect it hit the reviewer harder than strains, genetic lines which the reviewer was more familiar with.\n Conclusion \n \n\nBlack Sheep Botanicals have done a good job with this strain - the uniqueness of the high and flavour profile make Ginger Glue something different, which in itself is incredibly refreshing when a lot of popular cannabis strains follow similar highs and flavours.\n\nGinger Glue is not afraid to bring something completely different to the table!\n\nHave you tried this strain?
